Socialite of the Month - Nicole Lindstrom

We're halfway through the year + we are back with our 2nd Socialite of the Month! For the month of July we're catching up with San Diego Socialite Nicole Lindstrom of Lindstrom Media. Nicole has been a great supporter of Social Studio Shop and has taken part in our workshops, online classes and consulting sessions! She's been using social media for the past couple of years to cultivate a successful business and we're so happy to share more about this boss babe + her success with our audience!

1. Hi there! Tell us a bit about yourself and what it is that you do!

Hi, my name is Nicole Lindstrom. I am a fire wife, mama to two, marketing extraordinaire and Boston terrier lover! I am the owner of Lindstrom Media, in which I do Marketing, Media buying and Press for small businesses. Yes…Media Buying…I prepare advertising schedules for clients for the whole year for both print and online advertising. I help in the creation of their ads, I photograph and manage social media, as well as I write press releases {that’s the shortened version}. A PR package in a nutshell. You can check out some of my photography and stories over at the blog I co-author, Simply Happenstance.

2. How do you think your best friends would describe you?

I think they would say that I am loyal, caring, dedicated, and that I have memory of an elephant. I remember dates, people, and events. Maybe I am a know-it-all…yikes!

3. So you’re a past Social Studio Shop Socialite. Can you tell our audience a little bit about what products or services you’ve participated in with what and us your experience was with those?

I connected with Social Studio Shop through social media and I actually first met Jessica in person over coffee. It was a lovely meet up I then signed up to learn more at the San Diego Workshop. It was a great workshop. I followed up with what I learned with some of the classes offered online in order to update some of the skills I learned. I currently am doing the Boss Babe Package that entails three one-on-one coaching to help with some of the detailed questions that pertain to my business.

4. Before getting together with Social Studio Shop, what were your biggest struggles with social media?

I am still learning this part…finding my own voice and figuring out who my audience is.

5. Since starting your social media journey, what has been the biggest change you’ve seen in your brand?

I think my biggest change is my focus of quality over quantity and remembering that my time is valuable. Being in confident in the value of my business and that I need to be firm in my pricing and timing.

6. Any exciting news you want to share with our readers?

I am dedicated to my clients, but currently it’s been exciting working with Laura’s House, a non-profit organization that provides programs for victims of domestic abuse on marketing their upcoming events as well as connecting community partnerships with like-minded small businesses.

7. Where can our audience connect with you?

You can find me on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest!
