Hi there! Tell us a bit about yourself and what it is that you do!
Hello! I'm Jana, I'm a fashion stylist, blogger, and freelance fashion writer in Kansas City, MO. My blog/business is called Jana Style. I love to help women find confidence through their wardrobe and absolutely love doing styling for my blog and freelance projects. It's been a passion of mine for a really long time and I feel so grateful to do it as my business.
How do you think your best friends would describe you?
Hardworking, Passionate, Loving, and Creative.
So you’re a past Social Studio Shop Socialite. Can you tell our audience a little bit about what products or services you’ve participated in with what and us your experience was with those?
I attended a Social Studio Workshop when they were here in Kansas City last summer. I met some amazing entrepreneurs and bloggers by connecting with this group and have learned so many amazing tidbits about social media that have truly impacted my business. I enjoy the tutorials, downloadable worksheets, Facebook group, and the support I received from the ladies at Social Studio after the workshop – our 3 and 6 month follow up conference calls were eye opening after the workshop!
Before getting together with Social Studio Shop, what were your biggest struggles with social media?
My biggest struggle was that I wasn't keeping track of my growth or even knew where to begin when it came to gathering my analytics. I think that just knowing the tools to track how I'm growing and engaging has made a huge difference for me.
Since starting your social media journey, what has been the biggest change you’ve seen in your brand?
I think I have a much clearer vision of my overall brand/aesthetic and knowing what that is has helped me keep things consistent. I think being consistent and producing quality over quantity has made my social media game much stronger. I really focus on putting quality images and content out.
Any exciting news you want to share with our readers?
This Fall I’ve had a couple different magazine features, I’ve been doing fashion segments every Friday on our local news station, and I just wrapped a big campaign with maurices and who what wear! To see more of this hop over to my Instagram or Facebook page, that’s where I post all of the fun behind the scenes stuff and extra content!
