At fourteen, Jessica fell in love with film photography. Since then, she has lived in the creative world and has had a passion for capturing and making connections with people. After graduating with a degree in Photography and Design, her creative savvy led her to the wonderful world of social media marketing.

For the past 4+ years, Jessica has spent her days consulting entrepreneurs and bloggers on their digital strategy. She has worked with a wide variety of industries including: travel &  leisure, real estate, brick & mortar, B2B, and fitness– just to name a few! Jessica's true passion shines when she is helping fellow dream chasers and boss babes grow with intention using successful, purpose-driven strategies.

Besides all things social, Jessica loves to spend time with her husband and their golden retriever. She enjoys hiking and camping with her family in San Diego, searching for the best local cup of coffee, and experiencing all that life has to offer.

What if I already have a strong social media presence?

We cater our workshops to a wide variety of socialites. From beginners to seasoned users, there's something for everyone to learn! We've had bloggers with over five years experience, social media marketers who do social media management and consulting for a living and entrepreneurs/creatives who understand the nuts & bolts of social media but aren't sure how to grow strategically. At Social Studio Shop, we cover loads of tips, tricks and techniques for utilizing social media to grow your brand. Read about our past socialites' experiences here.

Why should I attend your workshop versus a conference?

Although we do love a good conference, our workshops are a unique experience because they provide you with hands-on practice through group and individual activities. Beyond sharing our story and what has worked for us, we use our knowledge and real-life practice to answer all your social media questions and help you define an achievable social strategy. By capping our attendance at thirty, we offer you the one-on-one experience that a conference just can't provide.

We offer support before you even sign up for a workshop. As a potential socialite, you have access to all our helpful resources, blog posts, and our community via a private Facebook group. We also welcome you to email us or tweet us questions at any time. You can be assured that someone from our team will follow up with you within just a couple hours or sooner.

What do I need to have prepared for the two-day workshop?

Once you reserve your spot, our team will follow up with detailed instructions on how to come prepared. We require that you have a Facebook Page, and Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram accounts set up so you can participate in all the fun activities. Along with your social profiles, you should bring: a laptop, notepad, pen, smart phone for activities, chargers (laptop + phone), business cards for networking, positive attitude and your happy self!

I don't have a laptop. Can I bring my desktop?

Unfortunately we do not have room for desktop computers at our workshop. You are welcome to bring a tablet such as an iPad, but you may not have access to every feature that we will be covering on each platform. A laptop is highly encouraged.

I am traveling from afar, can you assist me with lodging options?

Absolutely! We have connected socialites in the past to room + travel together so they can have the most affordable options available. Please reserve your spot, then send Elana an email at [] for further assistance.

Do you offer refunds?

You bet– but you have to put in the work! If you attend our workshop, put the strategies into action, provide proof that you have done so and are still unsatisfied with your results, you may be eligible for a full refund. Granted, this has never happened to a single socialite in the past, but we do want you to feel secure in your investment.

What if I have something come up?

Due to limited availability, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations. That being said, we know things come up. If you are unable to attend our workshop, you have two options. 1) We can apply the amount you paid (in total) to a one-on-one consulting package or to our online courses.  2) You can choose to send someone in your place.

In any instance, the request must be made by the original registrant. If you need to cancel for any reason, send us an email to as soon as possible.

Disclaimer: Results from this workshop may vary. We will provide you our knowledge and insights but it is up to you to implement these techniques. The more closely you follow our strategies combined with the effort you put in during and after the workshop, the more likely you will be able to increase your traffic, social growth, engagement, and sales.
